Bay to Bay Rowing and Paddling Regatta
The Bay to Bay Event is a special event benefiting the youth swim programs for the beach and bay communities of San Diego. This year will mark the 26 th Annual Bay to Bay regatta. The event features a 20 mile and 5 mile water race/tour for any type of human powered water craft. The race is scheduled for Saturday, June 6 th and we expect over 250 watercraft entries and up to 100 fans attending the post race festivities. The race is open to any type of human powered water craft. The 20 mile race begins at the San Diego Sailing Center on Santa Clara Point and the 5 mile race begins on Shelter Island and both ending on the Coronado Tidelands Park Beach Landing. Post race activities include lunch, a silent auction, raffle giveaways, water industry vendors, entertainment, and the presentation of awards to the winners of each category.
Our event welcomes Valley Box as a sponsor! Many sponsorship opportunities are still available for the event. More sponsorship information is available upon request.
Event registration is by mail or email and day of race registration is at the San Diego Sailing Center on Mission Bay. The 20 mile race begins at Santa Clara Point and the 5 mile race begins at the Sandy Beach on Shelter Island (home of Americas Cup 95’) and both races ending at the Tidelands Park beach landing at Coronado Island.
