Types of Protective Barriers

Corrosion prevention is important for sensitive items that are being stored for a long period of time and shipments via ocean transport, where moisture could invade and jeopardize product integrity.

Industrial Covers

Covers are made to protect tools or other assets from a damaging environment. Typically we fabricate covers out of 18 oz vinyl clad "Cargo-Cover" material. It is weather and UV resistant with a life span longer than ten years outdoors. It is chemical resistant and virtually impossible to tear. Covers can be curtained, draped, loose or tight fitting, square, rectangular or cylindrical and they come in a wide range of colors.

Gusseted Barrier Bag

Barrier bags have been developed as a means of preserving the contents of a package against damage from elements such as; dirt, dust, moisture, and other airborne contaminants. Products sealed in properly controlled production environments will remain
protected for twelve to eighteen months.

Desiccant

Desiccant is a substance that absorbs water vapor from the air. Typically used in the packaging industry desiccants are used to eliminate the harmful humidity that could potentially degrade or even destroy products that are sensitive to moisture.
